For anybody that doesn't have virus protection, one of
the best anti-virus programs out there is the AVG Free Edition
from Grisoft: http://free.grisoft.com/freeweb.php/doc/2/
It doesn't have automatic live update, but it does have a 
update manager that you click and it will download the latest
definitions.
Everybody should have some form of protection or else
you'll eventually find out how fast your system can be wiped out.
Fortunately iris-talk strips attachments and we don't have to worry
here, but a zip file attachment came through iris-photos today.
