Re: HIPS & AIS display gardens

To my knowledge, AIS does not have a display garden program.

John

Hi all,

Does anyone know who is in charge of information on display gardens
recognized by HIPS. I would like to find out requirements to be listed.
The Rio Grande Botanic Garden is getting quite a lot of oldies now, and
most will be in public displays very soon (one planting already is). My
impression is that the list through HIPS is just an informal listing of
gardens displaying old Iris, with no "official" recognition???

Actually same question regarding AIS. I have never seen any information as
to whether AIS even lists display gardens anywhere. Many horticultural
societies do, and I'd like to learn more if possible.

Thanks,

Dave
