But this gets back to the issue of genetic control - is it just a different
pigment and the same genetic control of pattern? Seems like it would need
some modifier for 'hybridizer speak' if the genetic control of the pattern is
different. Maybe FF plicata, if that is the first famous variety, rather
than yellow plicata, to keep pattern separate from color.
