Yes... but unless you turn the soil the weed seeds further down
*won't* germinate which is why you should do any intensive soil
working *before* you solarize, or prepare to re-solarize after the
first solarization if you need to do one in order to work the soil...
(get rid of all the awful weeds etc.)...
