A friend just received a shipment of iris and needs your expert advice. She is not online, so I am posting for her.
The rhizomes seem to be moldy on the ends that are freshly cut. Is this all right or does she need to treat them with something before planting?
I couldn't advise her because I have not heard of this before.
We would appreciate any advice you can give us regarding this.
