Hi Linda... Niagara Power MAY still be available by mailorder... if you're
serious, I would suggest you write to the hybridizer, Anna Rettig. She is 76
years old, and it would be a thrill for her to have you write (Anna Rettig,
3371 Bowen Rd., Elma, NY 14059). Of course, I would be happy to call her
for you - I love her to death - but she would not get the same joy out of
hearing from me, as hearing from a complete stranger! It's up to you. I
believe she's selling for around $20.
Sure - feel free to give Shirley the Maine Chance tour... I have not yet
written her a thank you for all the kindness extended to us during the trip
(to my great embarassment), but I rechecked my posting and I think she'd
enjoy getting it.
I just got back from Binghamton (4 hour trip from here) for their sale. I
ALSO loaded up on beardless... and I tried to hawk them to others. I just
think they're sooo exotic.
