Technically, your description is sound, Tom.  May I add, strictly from a
visual point of view that a luminata most usually looks as though a pixie
spilled milk or honey out of the center of the flower, allowing it to run
down the falls.
Now here is my question for you, Tom: Do you know any luminata pattern irises
where the styles are pink?....I do not recall ever seeing one.  Clarence
