This reminds me of the potato planting method I once saw used by an old
chap who still ploughed his steep field with a Clydesdale and hand
guided plough. He used to walk along the rows dropping and stepping in a
sort of wierd dance pattern. It seems to be very efficient, and save a
lot of back pain, if you are planting in large quantities.
