A wonderful fellow I met this spring, George Bange, takes credit for
suggesting ALMOST GLADYS. Story is he was touring the Ensinger garden, saw
that seedling, and knowing the plan, turned to Mr. Ensinger and said,
"Well, that one's Almost Gladys."
