Maj Ohrstrom, your iris is most interesting. I was torn between Iris
cristata, but it seems to tall, and Iris aphylla, with the purple
flowers, but that does not have creeping rhizomes. Can you give us more
information or, better still, post a photo on Rodney's website.
Ian, in Ottawa which probably has a similar climate to you.
