REB:Report
I've been so busy with the move that I haven't spent much time in town. Just
took a quick trip and happened by the Southern Kentucky Iris Society's
display garden. Several frozen stalks were still waving in the breeze so I decided
to stop and make a list.
One clump of BRIDGE IN TIME had 2 stalks and another had 3.
RETURNING CHAMELEON was moved rather late, but put up a late stalk (It also
bloomed in mid summer.)
Others known to rebloom here also had one or more stalks: FEED BACK, HARVEST
OF MEMORIES, CORN HARVEST, 2 (more) HONEY SCOOP, VIOLET RETURNS, CITY
LIGHTS, AUTUMN CIRCUS, ELAINALOPE, and REMARKABLE.
Here are the ones that surprised me: FOLKSY FUN (Burseen 97), GOODBYE GIRL
(Schreiner's 95), STAR STRUCK, IRIS IRENE, HELLO DARKNESS, and JESSIE'S SONG.
Betty W. in South-central KY Zone 6 . . . where VIOLET MIRACLE & DOUBLE SHOT
fall bloomed in mum pots.
