Just so we are clear exactly what we are theorizing about... you planted
seeds, they germinated.. but the plants themselves were deformed and never
reached any kind of size or maturity ? Or did you mean that all the blooms
were ugo?
I tend to agree with you that it seems unlikely that the closeness of the
pedigree, at least on the surface, would cause either problem. If it was
just the germinants that were ugly, I might be suspicious of growing
conditions.. pod ripeness... something like that being the real culprit. Of
course... the only way to test out that theory is to try the cross
again....<g>
