SPEC: BULB: Iris Persica Linnaeus

Greetings.

For a proposed article for Magnolia, the journal of the Southern Garden 
History Society, I solicit communication from anyone on this list who grows now, or 
has grown in past, *Iris persica Linnaeus.* 

I would also welcome referrals to any individuals known to have first-hand 
horticultural knowledge of this Iris species, and information about commercial 
availability, if any, of nursery grown stock in North America or Western 
Europe.
