Griff, On the average, I got almost as many seed the second year from the
2003 & 2004 crosses as I did the first year. Probably because I've grouped all
the pots together and they were watered along with the new crop . . . in the
spring. Did NOT have even one sprout from the 2003 batch in 2006. They did
very well in both 2004 and 2005. In 2005, I was still getting sprouts from
the 2002 group.

I've even dumped some of the pots . . . the 1812 batch (Lemon Reflection x
All Revved Up). I've seen enough of that bunch! Probably have 20 reselects
at this point and don't want any more! Almost all are some variation on the
same theme with only one being really different than the rest. Interesting
note on these. The 2004 batch produced fall bloomers while the 2005 group
produced summer bloomers. One from the 2005 batch does both. Now isn't that
curious?

The 1810 group sprouted 3 the first year and 36 the second year. Several of
these bloomed summer and fall. I'm in favor of holding them over.

The 2005 crop sprouted so well that I'm not expecting much this year, except
a couple of crosses that sprouted only one or two. Often these sprout well
the second year. Have my fingers crossed for an orange/pink that only
sprouted 2/60. If I get NOTHING the first year, I usually get NOTHING the second
year.
