Same year, but not the same pod!  248 seed.  Five pods if I  remember right.  
Transplanted 92 the first summer.  Fifty put up  stalks that same year.  
Thirty bloomed (2004).

I found it VERY interesting.  Planted another 56 in 2005.  This  is the group 
that gave about 6 early rebloomers.  One give many stalks and  rampant 
growth, while another has great form and ruffles.  These are  variations of greyed 
gold with lavender or blue overlays.

The different one was in the first batch.  It was one of the smaller  ones 
(later germinant, but not 2nd year) at the end of the bed that didn't get  
enough growth to bloom the first year.  Healthy rhizomes.  White with  gold trim.  
Well branched, etc.  All of these need to be lined  out.  Hoping for this 
year.  
 
Should see some seedlings bloom from the 1812 group this year!   Sibling 
cross in the pots.
