Double Shot (Sutton) reblooms for everyone I know.
Except for me. It has never rebloomed in my garden, although I have to admit it has not received the care and attention it should have.
As to irises which are good at reblooming despite neglect - Harvest of Memories, Feed Back, Earl of Essex and the dwarf Baby Blessed have probably been the most reliable for me. Feed Back and Earl of Essex have given some okay seedlings, but if you are interested in hybridizing, I would recommend you choose something newer (such as Double Shot) to breed from. The older reliable rebloomers may pass on their rebloom but they usually pass on their older form as well.
The Rebloom Checklist which is available from the Reblooming Iris Society at www.rebloomingiris.com is an excellent source of information on rebloomers. It contains the checklist descriptions plus details as to the zones, states (and countries) where rebloom has been recorded. Generally speaking, an iris which is known to have rebloomed in many different locations is the most likely to rebloom in your garden, provided that it is known to have rebloomed in your climate zone or colder zones.
