I'm certainly no expert, but I don't think those two iris are the same
cultivar.  To my eye the beards settle the issue.  It looks like the "bright
yellow" beard is a self colored beard, but the "golden" one is what I have
described as "agouti" with stripes of pigment on each beard hair.  


I don't
know if either can be confirmed at this late season, and I can't say for sure
that this wouldn't be affected by chemicals or seasons, but I'd beat my fist
against the table until someone proved me wrong.
