Hi
Can someone help me please.
I was checking my USDA zones yesterday. On winter
min.tempeature alone I'm in zone 8. However I've seen some of you useing an a, b
etc suffix on your zone. Does this subdivide the zones on the basis of rainfall
or something else. Obviously westen Texas, South Carolina and coastal Washington
all have very different rainfall, both quanity and distribution, and also in
terms of summer maximums. I assume my rainfall (about 35" and mostly in winter,
early spring, low summer humidity) would be more similar to central Texas than
other zone 8 areas. Can someone help.
Thanks
