I hardly consider myself a hybridizer, but have been growing different
species & taking notes on how they react to my growing conditions &
weather & then comparing those growth responses to growth responses of
modern TBs. The thought has occurred to me as I see how some of these
cultivars grow (or more interestingly, don't grow) and from discussions
of modern TBs not being <language skills abandon me here - I don't know
the terminology - ...> 'true' tetraploids, I can't help but wonder if
some have inherited large doses of some characteristics as an 'intact'
package of genes from species ancestors, even though probability sez
there should be only a small percentage of those parent chromosomes left
if they were inherited by fractions. If that makes any sense.

Anyway, here are some TBs that have aphylla ancestry (tho NOT a lot of
aphylla): COLETTE THURILLET, VIGILANTE, GREEN EYED LADY, SCHORTMAN'S
GARNET RUFFLES, and their ancestors BLACK FOREST, ETHIOP QUEEN, GYPSY
JEWELS, WAR LORD.

I can't find my notebook with additional pedigree searches right now, so
may post more later.

Is this what you were asking for?
