I think at some time someone really must assemble and publish an analysis of
the pedigree information in this work which, I have been reliably informed,
is unrealiable. I've passed on buying the book several times myself because I
know that I frankly wouldn't know the good information from the bad. Other
people may simply not know that the book, which was written by a past AIS
President, is controversial, and may rely on it to their detriment. It is bad
enough when we don't know if the information contained in a book with AIS
associations is sound, but when we know some of it is not what it should be,
that should be documented by those who are aware of the specifics of the
matter. When it comes to correcting the record in this sort of situation, we
cannot not rely on the oral tradition.
