Hi Rose, and welcome to the list,
Don't know about deer, but their appetites are much the same. Kangaroos
consider siberian iris to be particularly tasty, but never touch bearded
irises. As you are planning on growing siberian irises, I would take the
kangaroos advice fairly seriously.
