I have been wodering the same thing here Donald. We have chlorinated water,
which I don't think is well regulated. Some days you can hardly breath in
the shower. Other days you can't smell it at all.
I have been watering newly transplanted rz's with it, and my losses have
been higher this year than others - mainly from crown rot I think.
I have a rainwater tank which has sufficient to provide for a few irises, so
I will experiment next year, with a town supply water group, an unwatered
group and a rainwater group.
I'd be interested to hear what other people's experiences have been.
