Walter and all,
The last time this was brought up in our region the
overwhelming opinion was NO! Actually, as you
mentioned there were several old timers who remembered
it from before and don't care to try it again. The
majority of the rest of us felt like we want to be
both garden and show judges so why split it. I love
garden judging, there is nothing better. However, I
love to show and judge shows also.
I feel about this like I do about splitting iris into
show iris and garden iris, that it would be a
mistake. However, that is a topic for another time.
