I answered Dana's post yesterday, but it never did show up on the
list. Or, at least it didn't show on my computer. Dana, did you get
it?
Betty, I don't know when it started or ended, but judges used to be
divided in to Exhibition and Garden judges. You had to be designated
an Exhibition judge before you could judge a show. I have AIS
Bulletins starting in 1954. Exhibition judges were phased out in the
late 60's or early 70's. Some people want to return to this. When I
have time, I will research this or somebody with Bulletins from back
then might look it up and help us out - maybe somebody who has been
working on the indexing project.
