I really like Gordon & Loraine Nicholson's category of 'princess'
irises. Sounds a lot nicer than 'rot-prone' or prone to the
'mollygrubs'. The Princess and the Pea was one of my favorite childhood
tales, along with the story about the goats and the troll under the
bridge....

thinking there must be a connection between being the Rot Queen and
killing off Princess irises....the Brothers Grimm undoubtedly would say
these are step children...
