To all,
You are listing this as first iris. How about encouraging
any AIS youth to answer this as well. The topic for the
Ackerman Youth Contest this year is: Why,When and
Where did you become intertested in iris.? Similar topic
isn't it? I would certainly appreciate it if you would
help in increasing our entries in this contest. The first
prize for youth 12 and under is $100. The first prize
for youth 13 through 18 is also $100. Each entry is
usually published in the Youth Iris Fan, and often each
youth who enters receives one or more iris for entering.
The announcement regarding this contest is in the January
Iris Bulletin in Jean Morris's youth view column. I'll be
looking for those entries.
