Re: Re: CULT: Variables with growing iris

Speaking of variables. I have aquired all but one of my iris within the last
3 to 5 years. I am amazed at the different sizes of the rhizimes! Both when
I received them and again now after they have been growing in my garden for
a while. Some came to me an average size and now after 2 years in my garden
are huge. I am assuming they probably needed the division and move that they
got by being sent to me? Some came to me so tiny but the iris are blooming
their little heads off, so I assume the rhizimes for , say, the standard
dwarf and the tall bearded are different in size according to their heights?
At any rate , I am enjoying them and you folks have helped me get this far
with them. Could I ask one more thing of you. Refresh me on how to access
the archives? Not sure I have gone there but maybe once...Thanks for all you
people do for beginners on this sight.

at least until the new zone map comes out, according to the Washington Post
there are 15 zones now instead of 11. Hummmm....
