RE: Cult- spring burn off


The green leaves curl up but are soon replaced with nice new foliage. there seems to be no adverse effects and plants bloom well and on time. The beardless plants in particular seem to be happier when they are burnt and there seems to be less weeds growing in the imeadiate vacinity. I have burnt the foliage off farly late in the season and didn't see any problems with growth or bloom. The first time I burnt TB's I was sure the plants had been killed as they looke very pathetic with all that wilted green foliage. The worry was needless as the plants recoved extreamly well
