Re: R & I list & Luminatas

Thanks to all for info on R & I lists.

Now a question.  I thought I had a pretty clear idea what a luminata was,
but I see an awfull lot of pictures of "luminatas" not so labelled, and
worse, an awfull lot of "plicatas" labelled as luminatas.  Now, correct me
if I'm wrong.  I plicata is supposed to have dark color following the veins
with lighter pigment in between, while a luminata is the reverse of this?
There certainly are a lot of variations on both of these themes, and
admittedly some plicatas look a lot like some luminatas, but on close
examination it seems a pretty clear-cut distinction to me.
