Fascinating! Very enlightening. Brings many other questions to mind.
Here's one, a slightly related question. Does anyone know of any clones of
species Iris that are truly glaciatas? or truly luminatas? Particularly,
I would love to find such of I. pallida, and perhaps in other species with
a base chromosome number of 24 (incl. tetraploid 48)
