OT:Region 7 Potluck_Driving Instructions

Good Morning All,

I've asked the Internet map 'powers that be' for driving instructions from 
Bowling Green KY to Lewisburg TN (meeting).  It/They have instructed me to 
take a Hi 24 bypass of about 3 miles that makes no sense to me!  Is there a 
sensible reason for this bypass?

My thought, based on previous experience and a highway map, is to stay on I 
65 as I go through Nashville.  Anyone??
