Early this morning I heard part of a gardening tip on controlling 
grasshoppers.  Don automatically came to mind because of his yearly battle with the 
creatures.  And his cute caps!  

This is a spray mixture, flour and water.  The part I missed was the 
dilution.  How much flour to water.  Spray a thin layer on the plants and it gums up 
the grasshopper's mouths.  The lady said that the grasshoppers will totally 
disappear.  

Rinse the water off in 2 days.  Any longer and it will mess up the plants 
photosynthesis.  

Anyone have any first hand experience with this method?
