Remembering a chat with Steve Poole last spring. He was advocating disbudding (pinks in particular) to increase chances of setting a pod. If I'm remembering it correctly, he said to remove, early on, all but one bud, a terminal one. That way, all the stalk's energy is channeled into it. With the weather so unpredictable here, I find this rather risky, not to mention the mental anguish of pinching out baby buds on the best stuff I have. Any of you have any experience with this?
