Are you sure it's variegata spot and not what I think of as 'expanded
shoulder' type spot?  Looking at pedigrees & seedlings.  Seedlings from
some of what I thought were variegata type spots have shoulders colored,
not a full spot.  & vice versa, a little.  Esp in the
pink/yellow/oranges.  i.e., Coral Beads, Coral Light, other descendants
from Peach Spot.  Also shows up in seedlings from Coral Beauty.

Gold Burst type.
