Descendants from Peach Spot where the color is just on the shoulders and/or around the beard, not a full spot, oranges and pinks. maybe yellows. I've wondered - not classic variegata spot (since that's anthocyanin) but even if there is a carotenoid over white "variegata" type pattern, I've wondered before if that's what this is. The haft and 'broken' spot that shows up in later generations is more like the pumila spot variations. & is 'peach' in Peach Spot orange or pink and blue?

Are you sure it's variegata spot and not what I think of as 'expanded
shoulder' type spot? Looking at pedigrees & seedlings. Seedlings from
some of what I thought were variegata type spots have shoulders colored,
not a full spot. & vice versa, a little. Esp in the
pink/yellow/oranges. i.e., Coral Beads, Coral Light, other descendants
from Peach Spot. Also shows up in seedlings from Coral Beauty.

Gold Burst type.

Peach Spot isn't an amoena, it is spot pattern, variegata spot to be
specific.
