I currently grow four of the five VA natives: the prismatica (coastal
form), cristata (blue form), virginica, and versicolor. I'm currently
looking for a source of verna that is from Virginia (as opposed to
another part of its range -- any tips would be appreciated!).
After this blooming season, I should be a good source of wild-collected
seeds from the VA native irises. I work for the Virginia Natural Heritage
Program, so field botanists often collect a seed pod or two for me when they
see irises in the field).
As for the Hexagonae series, I currently grow giganticaerulea, fulva,
and a dwarf form of fulva. I'm anticipating a trade for brevicaulis,
hexagona, and nelsonii this year, but I'm always on the lookout for
other potential trades.. .
Although the species are my current main interest, most of my
collection is sibericas and louisiana hybrids. As for trades, my
main excesses are sibericas, but I'm always willing to trade a little
of anything for something new--you just can't beat the combination
of new plants and new friends!

Are Elaine and John on the mailing list? If not, do you know how I
could contact them?

Is there more info about this meeting floating around? I'm certainly
interested!
