At the risk of embarrassing fellow subscriber Clarence Mahan,
I got my AIS Bulletin yesterday and saw a full page ad for
a new introduction 'Lady Bird Johnson' -- one of the loveliest
iris pictures I've seen recently. I didn't get out my checkbook
(we're trying to economize with a new baby in the house), but
if the iris is as good as its picture, it will certainly have
a place in my garden in the future.
For those who love pastel shades (count me in), this one looks
like a winner. You heard it here first, folks!
