Hi Kathy,
I have not joined any horticultural societies as my interests are rather
eclectic at this time, but I do have an interest in irises. All of the
iries that I have, were bought at local nurseries or I travelled into
Westbury to Hicks Nursery or Muttown's Martin Viette Nursery. These are my
old haunts when I lived in Queens. The yellow-brown iris is one that I had
in Queens and left there.
Out here, I have not been able to find it. Martin viette had it last year,
but when I went in to get it all of there tags were missing so I was buying
a "cat in the bag". I lost.
I got Cooley's Garden's page from the web and intend to get their catalog.
