Yes, I agree they should do well, but WATER!!!!! is the main thing 
with Louisianas, especially the more tender ones. Rusty Ostheimer 
told me this, and I believe it completely. Unless you put a pond 
liner under the LA's in the CA desert, or have a good water supply, 
and I mean watering EVERY DAY, they may be more of a hassle than 
they're worth (as western-grown TB's are here). We should garden for 
fun, not for frustration.
