Almost totally correct. The above is right on the money for an HM.

An HC, however, is for seedlings--irises that have not been introduced.

All you have to do to introduce an iris is write up a price list and
send Keith a copy. A Bulletin ad assures that many serious irisarians
will see it, however.

Probably a good idea no matter how the introduction takes place. On the
one hand, it might not do well in other areas, making introduction less
desirable. On the other, if it does thrive elsewhere, it has some
important early exposure towards getting recognition and medals.

The three years start two or three years after introduction, not after
registration, so what you have done and are planning is fine and will
result in the desired three years on the ballot.

Good luck with your iris. I am sure I am not alone in wanting to hear
more about it.
