HIPS Happening

While you folks are huddled, nose pressed to the window watching the snow
fall - maybe this would be a good time to think about groovy iris gigs for
the fast-approaching season
Like the FIRST EVER ..... HIPS Happening.
The Happening is sponsored by Region 2, AIS and will be held in central New
York (Syracuse area). This will be a convention like no other since the
focus will not be where we're going in irisdom, but rather and affectionate
look at where we've been. We have spectacular gardens, cool programs,
extraordinary people and all kinds of special twists.
Dates are 6/2-4
Registration is $90 pp (2 days of bus tours, banquet, farewell luncheon)
For more information and/or application - raise your hand and I'll throw one
in today's mail.

in East Aurora, NY where we don't even mention the snow until it's past your
knees... and where the year that we had the most snow ever, we (true story)
loaded up rail cars and shipped it south. The south, BTW... was not amused
