Chuck anticipated a question I was going to ask here:
>Thus Ziggy would likely be "pl pla plu plu". This may be the genetic

>broken colour was that it was an interaction with a seperate factor,
>(such as with the ring factor that I have seen with my SDB) but this

>family trees of broken colour to confirm this, but it looks promising.
>Bewilderbeast crossed with Rock Star produced a zonal seedling for
>Suttons so Bewilderbeast very likely could also be this genotype, and
>most likely has two of the luminata genes (plu).
Didn't Dennis Kramb (I think) post a photo of BATIK (I think) where 1/2 the
fall in the photo was a normal plicata pattern and the other 1/2 was the
broken color pattern we are accustomed to seeing? Remembering that photo
made me wonder if broken color was the plicata gene gone haywire or
something else. Anyone know if FANTASTIC (Plough '77) is a broken color?
It derives from plicatas with STEPPING OUT on both the maternal and paternal
sides.
