Oh, San Diego! That was the 1975 convention which I will never forget. On
the way to the convention we visited Zion National Park in Utah. While
trying to take a picture of a balancing rock, I slipped off the road and
broke my ankle. After surgery and several days in the hospital in Las Vegas
(no slot machines in the hospital), we continued to San Diego and rented a
wheelchair to tour the gardens. There was even a picture of me in the
wheelchair in the AIS Bulletin.
