OT:Roger Nelson Seeks Iris

Hi all,

Roger Nelson asked me to 1) ask a question, and 2) circulate his 
"looking for list".

1)  "I very much want to track down a man by the name of Joseph G. 
Griffith (formerly from Pacific Grove, California --- 407 7th
Street). He registered a black iris in the mid 1980's as HORSE.  I am 
very intrigued with its lineage and would like to locate and grow it. 
 I wrote him a month or so ago; and the letter came back arked -- 
"Unknown--Forwarding Order Expired".  Can you help me trace him down?"

2) "I have completed a list of all the Opal Brown irises that Larry 
Harder, Margaret McCraw etc. and I feel are good ones to locate and 
preserve.  Please see if there are any varieties on the list that you 
know the whereabouts of.  And finally, I did complete the full list
of Joe Ghio irises that I am seeking (Phil Edinger, too in some 
cases).  Please look this over and see if a source comes to mind for 
any of them.  I hope to locate a few of these -- some are not that 
old; but it is interesting how fast some 1980's introductions are 
disappearing."
