RE: CAT: Arrowhead Alpines

Unfortunately they do not have I. perrieri.

Then again, nobody does.

See Brian Mathew 'The Iris' addendum for revised edition (pg 193):

'Rather like I. aphylla in having strongly ribbed leaves, long branches
to the inflorescence and purple flowers, and it closely resembles a form
of I. aphylla from Romania...'

It is a diploid as well.

Any ideas who may have it in cultivation other than Brian Mathew? Seeds
would be nice. Consider this my annual request.

Regards,

Sandy Ives (in balmy Ottawa, where the white mulch appears here to stay)
