Walter hi,
No need to be anxious about it...things change and evolve as
folks get a little more sophisticated about mailing lists. The
species list on Yahoogroups is the most active at the moment
having just really begun on Dec.17th and now has 71 subscribers.
The last two weeks in Dec. messages numbered 219 and in Jan. (so
far) the number is 224 for a grand total of 443.
Disclaimer: I do not have anything to 'do' with this list
outside of being a member.
If specialization is wanted by folks, so be it. I personally
feel that if the 'experts' on certain classes of iris are
available to post on the more focused lists, everyone benefits
and the AIS benefits. I had let my membership lapse in several
sections and these lists propelled me to get the checkbook out.
Cheers,
Ellen
