I didn't realize Fancy Woman or Wearing Rubies were rebloomers...or does that
wonderful California weather (in this case San Juan Capistrano) encourage more
iris to rebloom than in the rest of the country?

Linda, our weather is great for most TB's which generally don't require a
freeze to trigger bloom upon warming. Oddly enough, a healthy stand of Jazz
Me Blue didn't bloom at all last year, and some Schreiner neglectas in
particular seem to require a colder winter for reliable increase. Many
luminatas and "reds" do carry some rebloom potential; I do not know if Wearing
Rubies simply has "jet lag" coming from the southern hemisphere.
Best of all, I see that distictive split beginning at the center of a few fans
on Louisa's Song (my favorite). It has a strong and healthy clump; I look
forward to a long bloom season from it, especially if it starts in February.
