Griff, with that color saturation and those beards, I'd definitely do a  
sibling cross.
 
With the 1812 cross, I was initially happy with all the rebloom last  fall.  
But then spring bloom revealed they weren't as 'pretty' as they  looked in the 
fall.  Maiden bloom tricks again!  But after the  dust settled, I chose to 
see the positive side, high percent of rebloom, great  stalks, branching and bud 
counts for what it is . . . opportunity.   <vbg>  And during fall bloom, I 
decided some were really  'okay.'  
 
I'll line them out and then change my mind again!  And watch for  something 
different in the 2nd year germinates.  
 
This was the cross where I should have planted 5 and produced 250 with the  
NEXT generation.  Oh, well!  Another spring coming soon.  
 
 
 

Make more crosses!  If you don't cross them, you can't   plant them!
