Nice, Francelle.

Like you, I'm finding that seedling plant strength is very hit or miss with each set of parents. A X B may all be extremely weak, while A X C may all be strong, with no apparent difference in B & C for health or growth rate.

Now and then, one parent seems to yield strong seedlings no matter what I cross it with (keep in mind that <anything> I can cross it with here is probably pretty strong to start with).

And some apparently very strong parents don't seem to produce strong children unless it's just the right combination with something else.

Discouraging and frustrating.
