I wonder why your computer doesn't put a question mark after your signature line...

Slow here doesn't look weak, tho weak can often be slow also. To me, slow means a cultivar never makes a lot of really rapid growth, even under ideal conditions, but the growth it does make will be healthy, in spite of erratic temperatures and moisture.

Unless of course, it gets <really> cold suddenly.

But even then, it won't experience any where near as much damage as the rapid growers.

However, it sometimes seems as though there are some genetic combinations for growth that are not particularly slow, but are more freeze proof than others.

<Those that appeared to be weak may not actually be weak!? Just slower to increase??
